The HELINA CONFERENCE is few days away. This 2014 conference is hosted by the Ghana Health Informatics Association (GHIA) at the University of Ghana, ISSER conference Center from March 7 to March 11.
HELINA and GHIA council have the pleasure to inform the cherish community especially those who have not yet registered or yet to paid the conference fee that registration and payment are still possible at the conference venue.
We wish to also bring to the notice of the community that Saturday 07 and Sunday 8 March 2015 will be dedicated to tutorial sessions: Big Data Analytics and Data Mining on March 7 and Health Information System & Interoperability – Example of Open-Source HIS incl. interoperability with other information systems, SNOMED CT Tutorial – Example of a Framework for HIS Semantic Interoperability and Event of HELINA and INDEHELA “Developing Health Informatics Education and Training: building Africa’s capacity for caring Education: driving force and capacity builder for the future of Health Informatics in Africa” on Sunday 8. Upcoming conference
The Health Informatics in Africa (HELINA) and the Ghana Health Informatics Association (GHIA) are pleased to inform the community that the HELINA 2014 Conference will take place in Accra from 7th to 11th March, 2015 at the ISSER Conference Centre, University of Ghana.

This year’s conference is supported by the International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA), the Ghana Ministry of Health, the Ghana National Health Insurance Authority, Ghana Ministry of Communication, Ghana Medical Association, Christian Health Association, Ghana Health Service, Ghana AIDS Commission[GD1] , the International Health Terminology Standards Development Organization (IHTSDO), and Koegni-eHealth Innovation for Development.

En ce qui concerne l’avis de report de la conférence HELINA 2014 en raison de l’interdiction de la conférence internationale au Ghana dans le cadre de mesures visant à prévenir l’épidémie d’Ebola au Ghana, nous sommes heureux d’annoncer à la communauté que l’interdiction a été levée. Compte tenu de cela, le Conseil HELINA et GHIA voudrait annoncer que la conférence HELINA 2014 se tiendra à Accra, au Ghana à l’Université du Ghana, Centre de conférences ISSER du 7 au 11 Mars 2015.
En ce qui concerne ce nouveau développement, les organisateurs de HELINA 2014 sont heureux d’annoncer que les frais d’inscription restent inchangés.

NOTICE OF HELINA 2014 CONFERENCE
With regard to the notice of postponement of the HELINA 2014 conference due to the ban on international conference in Ghana as part of measures to prevent the outbreak of Ebola in Ghana, we are happy to announce to the community that the ban has come to an end. In view of this, the HELINA and GHIA Council would like to announce that the HELINA 2014 conference will be held in Accra, Ghana at the University of Ghana, ISSER Conference Centre from March 7 – 11, 2015.
With regard to this new development the organizers of HELINA 2014 are pleased to announce that the conference fees remain unchanged.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Accra.
